The movie takes place during world war II. It follows a young army man named Seita who shares his dreadful story of the planes bombing the area. He takes after his younger sister Setsuko. The dark feeling is even met up with really beautiful scenes. The simplicity is once again a breathe of fresh air and the most simple of task becomes very important. There was only a two lines of dialogue I couldn't hear. Other then that the interactions got a little strange but only slightly. The power of this movie was able to bring characters in for only a brief moment and you could already tell what kind of people they were. Overall another great animated movie that I highly recommend. Watch my review above where I neglect to mention their names.
