So a common thing in American Horror Story is putting real life stories in the show. Whether it be a direct adaptation of a real life story or just inspired by one. Anyway, here is a very short post of a few things I would like to see in the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel.
1. H.H. Holmes "Murder Castle"
H.H. Holmes is often considered America's first serial killer. He purchased a lot where he built what became know as "Murder Castle." He had different workers build it in sections so no one apart from him would know the layout. Once finished, he would trap his victims in his "Murder Castle." It had many of ways to trick the victim and make them go insane. It had doors that lead to a brick wall, doors that only opened from one side, and hallways that lead to nowhere. This sounds like it would be an awesome thing to add to this season.
2. The Cecil Hotel
This is the first thing that came to my mind when I heard AHS season 5 was going to be Hotel themed. This hotel has a pretty eerie back story, including two serial killers staying there, suicides, and the mysterious death of Elisa Lam. In the 50's and 60's many people jumped to their deaths from the high windows. In 1985 serial killer Richard Ramirez stayed there and in 1991 Jack Unterweger who was blamed for killing three prostitutes stayed there. There was also the death of “Pigeon Goldie” Osgood who was found stabbed, strangled, and raped in his room. And of course there was the death of Elisa Lam. To learn more about her mysterious death, watch the video below.
3. The Stanley Hotel
This is one of the most famous haunted hotels in America. It was also Stephen King's inspiration for The Shining. I've seen a few paranormal investigations on this hotel and fake or not, there is some creepy stuff in them. I could really see some of the stories I've read about this place happen in the season.
Anyway, that was my short list. Let me know what you think and if you are excited for American Horror Story: Hotel.
