I am not going to lie; there are so many movies coming out in the next couple of years, I might just spend most of my money on movie tickets. Okay, maybe that's a little over exaggerated, but you get my point. However there are a few that stand above the rest, so here is a top five movies I want to see in the next two years (April 2015 - May 2017).
#5 -Guardians of the Galaxy 2
I absolutely loved the first Guardians (as many of you did as well) so I am not ashamed to say; without any concept art, plot ideas, etc.; I am super excited about this movie. With James Gunn directing and writing the screen play, this will surely live up to the hype of it's predecessor. That being said, with this movie having a release date of May 5, 2017 (barely being eligible for this list) it did not rank any higher.
With the test footage that came out in the fall, the R-rating confirmation, and the set pictures, I am highly excited about this movie. With Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, I am greatly optimistic for everything that comes from this movie. Honestly, if Deadpool does not break the fourth wall and agree that the "deadpool" from X-men Origins was TERRIBLE then I might just cry. But never the less, I am super excited for Deadpool. Deadpool is scheduled to be released Feb. 12, 2016. And if you haven't seen the test footage, here you go.
#3 - Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
This will be my favorite DC Comics movie that is coming out in the next two years (and the only one to be in this top five). I am SO ecstatic about this movie, however the most recent trailer for the movie did not make me as excited for the movie like other movie trailers. I do not think it was bad by any means, but it did give me more questions than answers, but i am still optimistic about Batman v Superman. I actually really like Batfleck, unlike some people, and I was actually really happy with the dialogue by Mark Zuckerburg, I mean Jessie Eisenberg. in the trailer. The costumes and the whole tone of the movie has me extremely excited. Batman V Superman comes out March 25, 2016, and here is the newest trailer.
#2 - Avengers: Age of Ultron
I know many people will get upset at me over this but I will digress, this is my favorite comic book movie coming out in the next two years. With less than a week left, and having already bought my ticket, I could not be more excited for this movie, especially with how much praise has already come from it. I have managed not to read any synopsis' about the movie so that I go into the movie with very little, but this will be the best comic book movie this year, no doubt about it. Age of Ultron comes out on May 1, 2015 (less then a week from this post) and if you have lived under a rock and not seen the newest and final trailer here you go.
#1 - Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Being a die hard Star Wars fan, of both the original and the prequels, and I will admit the prequels were not very good, I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited for the next chapter into the Star Wars universe. With J.J. Abrams at the helm, the multitude of the returning cast, and the new faces of the almost unknown actors, this movie is by far my most favorite movie in the upcoming years. If I could buy tickets right now, I would in a heart beat. Not to mention the hype of the trailer that just released. I literally watched it about a hundred times, and I haven't gotten bored with it yet. I love the way that J.J. Abrams has presented everything so far, himself being a huge Star Wars fan. I cannot wait for this movie to be released and for all the cool merchandise that will come with it. Star Wars Episode VII is set to be released on December 18, 2015 and if you haven't seen the AMAZING new trailer you can see that here.
And if that wasn't enough for you, here are the reactions of some babies that watched the trailer.
