Our first official, full look at Jared Leto's Joker for Suicide Squad has been released. For the past few months, Jared has taken us on a journey of his transformation into the Joker. He cut off his ponytail, bleached his hair, dyed it green and now we have a full look from David Ayer.

My first thoughts on this are, um. Uuuuuuuuuuuum. What's going on? This doesn't quite feel right. Is this real? Is he going to be shirtless the whole film? Since when was the Joker into tattoos? I - um. Yeah, um.

It's different, that's for sure. I definitely wouldn't say that this reminds of The Dark Knight Returns. Why is the word "Damaged" tattooed on his forehead? Are you telling me The Joker is damaged? That just feels cheating, the Joker is damaged, that's why he acts so crazy. All of that psychology mumbo jumbo. The Joker is beyond psychology to understand and no tattoo should say otherwise.

I know he's crazy but having "Ha" inked all over his body just feels silly. I feel like I'm going to be staring at his tattoos for the whole film. There's a god damn grin on his arm. Why does he have metal teeth? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

I think what is bothering me the most is that they're trying too hard. It feels like they're screaming in our faces "HE'S THE JOKER" with all of those tattoos. I would have liked something more subtle, something classier. Joker is about theatrics but I don't think tattoos is the way to go.

Maybe I'm being judgemental, maybe I'm just not use to this new "funky" Joker look that the DCCU is going for. Maybe I am. I'm bothered by it, sure. Maybe he's performance is going to be mind blowing and I'm just going to have to put up with this new look that Jared is going for.
