As one of very very very many huge Harry Potter fans I'm still saddened to this day by the end of one of my favorite childhood- young adulthood book series. When Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book was released I contemplated not finishing it due to me not wanting to be finished with Harry's adventures. Of course I finished it and was somewhat anticipating the movie adaptation. I say somewhat for the same reason I contemplated not finishing the last book. I didn't want to be done with Harry's adventures on the big screen as well. I didn't want to say goodbye to Hogwarts and the Wizarding World.

But recent news of J.K. Rowling writing another book (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them) that take place in the Wizarding World sparked my inner child and gave me sort of that same excitement I got as a child whenever the newest Harry Potter book was released.

I'm one of the many fans who still wants J.K. Rowling to write a post-Golden Trio series about the adventures of either their children and their times and experiences at Hogwarts or a pre-Golden trio era book that focuses on the Marauders and the First Wizarding War.

Which leads me to this....

While J.K. has released a short-story about James and Sirius that held me over for like ten minutes. I highly doubt we'd ever get a full on book or movie about the Marauders and all and actually delve into a world before Harry and the gang.

So how about a television series?. A television series that would go for a few seasons, maybe 4 or 5.

The first season could take place during the Marauders fourth year going into their fifth year or so to save us from having to sit through their whole first year for one whole season. We could learn about people or certain events through a flashbacks and dialogue perhaps?.

The second season could be their fifth year and so on and so forth. Pretty much the last season could be a build up to the first Wizarding War and the season finale would be the night James and Lily died which would then lead into the first Harry Potter book and movie. I didn't get too detailed with this because I don't know how to word any of my ideas nor did I really flesh them out, lol. But I just figured I shared this idea because I'm sure tons of other people have thought the same just haven't voiced it.
