The summer is just about to begin which (for some of us!) can mean only one thing... We need to check up on the awesome movies about to be released for kids and adults alike! If you're looking for the perfect cinematic outing with your kids, look no further! Here's a list of great movies about to hit the big screen!

1. Minions

Minions is the official spin-off movie from the Despicable Me franchise. As the greatest and funniest component of both movies led by Gru, these guys deserve our attention for their own blockbuster hit! This is for sure one of the most expected movies of the year, so it will be perfect to take your kids to see it.

Release date: July 10, 2015

2. Hotel Transylvania 2

This sequel to Adam Sandler's Hotel Transylvania looks as though it will be a fine addition to this summer's slate. I personally liked the first one, but don't advise for 4 or 5 year olds. However, it should be fine for 8 or 9 year olds.

Release date: September 25,2015 (my birthday haha!)

3. Inside Out

Naturally, this list was destined to feature a charming feature from the incredible studio that is Disney/Pixar. This movie is for sure good for all ages, and it's different than anything we've seen so far, so i really advise you to see this movie with your kids.

Release date: June 19, 2015

4. The Peanuts Movie

I advise this movie to those parents who like to share cartoons and comics of the "old days" to little kids so they know what they missed. This movie is not in cartoon but is still Snoopy, one of the greatest animations of all time that will never lose it's appeal!

Release date: November 6,2015

5. The little Prince

I found this movie trailer really interesting and i think you should see the movie with your kids. Even if you are alone this movie might be great. It shows a unique style and is bound to entertain kids who have become used to the similar styles of Disney and Dreamworks.

Release date: May 2015 in Cannes and 29 July 2015

6. Home

This movie has already been released in many countries but can still be seen for a while longer. So, if you get the chance to see this film, which stars Rihanna and The Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper, I advise you to see it!

Release date: It as been release in the beggining of March in the USA.

7.Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast

Again, this feature has also been released in many countries but can still be seen in certain cinemas across the world. Most kids love the character of Tinkerbell, so it's a safe bet that they will love this one!

Release date: The release date started in last December and is still to be release in some countrys.

8.Shaun the Sheep Movie

I loved the show, and can definitely recommend seeing this movie. The Aardman animation would be particularly suited for kids who love Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit.

Release date: Started being released in Aruba in 5 February, 2015 and will continue to be released in the rest of the world until 24 September, 2015

9.The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water

Believe it or not, this movie is still available in quite a lot of theaters and delivers exactly the humor you expect with Spongebob. So, go and see this film with your kids while you still have time!

Release date: Was release in 28 January, 2015 and only Japan still doesn't have the movie in their theaters.

Which movie are you most looking forward to seeing?
