(WARNING: You guessed it! This article contains spoilers for 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and Scarlet Witch's wardrobe of limited hues. So if you're one of those people that still enjoys the secret spectacle of cinema, you know where the digital door is. If not, stay and be sated with spoils!)
Okay, okay beads of sweat are slowly beginning to form on your forearms, your heart is palpitating and your vision is blurred from excitement, because it's only a mere few days until Avengers: Age of Ultron finally releases. And about time too!
But, in recent developments in Spoilerdom - population: too many - it seems as if the internet has managed to bag itself a cheeky little look at Scarlet Witch's brand spanking new costume and *SPOILERS* it's pretty good actually. *Strokes beard contemplatively* Understated, somewhat.
But, saying that, I guess anything would look understated when compared to Scarlet Witch's comic-book costume, which is both amazing and utterly ridiculous in equal abandon:
The Scarlet Witch we've been introduced to so far, has more of the look of exactly where her head is at, at the time - a broken, lonely and mentally scarred young woman. Or a grubby hipster, whichever way you want to look at it:
Welcome To Spoilertown
Read on if you don't mind spoiling a teeny bit of Age of Ultron's plot. If you do mind, LEAVE! Go, now.
Then roughly about midway through AoU, something cataclysmic occurs and Scarlet Witch has to make the ultimate choice: become an Avenger or remain a superhuman residing outside of the law. You can guess what she chooses.
Then, boom! With her new found superhero status, comes a new look and hairdo, and over-flowing cleavage, because, you know, cleavage is a necessary enhancement for heroines.
Wanda Maximoff uses her powers to float into frame, showing off knee high boots, a badass, leather (looking) scarlet coat and corset combo.
Check it out for yourself:
Where she was hovering in Avengers HQ is anyone's guess, but that's a strong look, is it not? You literally see like less than a few seconds of it in the movie, which is a shame, but I guess it's a tease for later adventures with ScarWitch and her super powered pals.
What do you make of the costume?
Love it? Hate it? Meh it?
And while you anxiously await the screening of AoU, check out the trailer again...go on!
