When I think of some of the most famous portraits, my mind instantly flashes to the elegant and poised faces of King Henry VIII, Paul Revere, Queen Elizabeth I, and so forth I used to spot in my history book.

So imagine my reaction when the same charm, refinement, and sophistication was captured in the following portraits shot by photographer Antti Karppinen featuring some of our most favorite characters we enjoy seeing in cosplay?

Karppinen traveled to the Cardiff Film and Comic Con this year in Wales and snatched these gorgeous photos, some which I wouldn't mind hanging in my own living room.

Mary Poppins is the ultimate nanny as well as the sweetest woman alive, and this portrait specifically seizes that.

Perhaps Karppinen could come over and take a few pictures of me in my Slytherin outfit. Or even a few regal photos of my chinchilla Marley in the Slave Leia outfit? Some new portraits on my walls would sure spiff up the place.
