My interaction with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been pretty limited over the years to say the least. But you don't need to be a fan of the ninjutsu-fighting anthropomorphic turtles to know their main adversary.

Shredder has been as essential to the TMNT universe as Renaissance painters! And for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, he's just been re-cast. Tohoru Masamune, was the man who portrayed him in 2014's TMNT. Here's a clip of him (well he's in a suit) taking on Raphael below! Did you know he's also in Inception?! Yep, he's the "Japanese Security Guard"...

He did a pretty decent job in 2014, but it's not entirely sure why he's been recast. In TMNT, he was never actually named as "Shredder" so he may have actually been the Oroku Saki version of the character (adjust those nerd glasses). But who shall take this man's place in Teenage Mutant Ninjas 2?!

Looking well, Tohoru Masamune

According to Variety, the actor who will succeed Masamune is none other than Brian Tee. He will join the returning cast as well as new actors like Stephen Amell and Tyler Perry.

Mr. Tee (you see what I did there?), is probably most recognized for his role as D.K. in The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. He'll also be appearing in Jurassic World and was even in Austin Powers: Goldmember! We wish him well in the role and are excited to see whether he's the main adversary or one of the side-baddies alongside Stockman and Bebop & Rocksteady.

Are you happy with this new Shredder casting?!
