Has it been a week already? Time sure does fly when you’re having fun. This episode of The Geek Show will hopefully entertain as well as inform you on some of the goings on in the Geek entertainment world. Ready? Set? GO!

We figured a good starting point for us was the latest rumors around the new Spider-man movie as well as his appearance in Captain America: Civil War. We also talked about the casting rumors of who will play the young Peter Parker. We also talked some ideas of how the story might go in Civil War. A lot of variables to it. We also talked some about the older movies and how Kevin Feige was consulted on the other Spider-Man moves. I think we know what happened to his advice to Sony.

We also touched on the new Fantastic Four trailer, and that is has finally gotten mine and BJ’s attention. We talked about what we got from it, and did some speculation of course on what the movie could be like. But we both agree, it got our attention this time, unlike the first one. BARF!

And then we got into some Star Wars with the release of the season 2 trailer for Rebels. We were both blown away by it. It looks like Disney and Lucasfilm is going to really give us some action. I’m betting Executive Producer Dave Filoni hat something in his cowboy hat for us. But what?

And locally here in Albany, N.Y. there was a Comic Book convention that kind of sneaked right by us. We never knew anything about it, untill actress Nicki Clyne of Battlestar Galactica posted about her last minute appearance at the con this past Saturday, April 25th. I wasn’t able to go and BJ was busy getting fired from his job. But from the rundown of the website, it looked to be a fun time. So we’re kind of bummed we missed it. But hopefully, we’ll have next year!

Stay Geeky!
