Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo's anticipated Leatherface is a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre films. We follow a teenage Leatherface who absconds with three other prisoners from a mental hospital.
They kidnap a young nurse and take her along for the ride, only to discover an comparably twisted lawman on their tail with a vengeful agenda.
Actor Sam Coleman has just been cast as the character "Bud," one of the three demented teens. The other two characters will be played by Sam Strike and Jay Bloor.
All three actors are up for consideration for the main Leatherface character, and I know I am not the only one gripping my seat in anticipation for the final news regarding our titular man.
Leatherface will also star Angela Bettis as Mother Sawyer and Stephen Dorff as a strikingly bad Texas Ranger who sees right through the teenage Leatherface.
If you care to be reminded of the horror that is Leatherface, check out this clip below from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
I am chilled to the bone. I'll probably be sleeping with the lights on tonight.
