To quote one of my childhood heroes, Ted "Theodore" Logan, strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

It's being reported that a certain actor portraying the Caped Crusader -- I'll give you a hint, his last name rhymes with "Batfleck" was spotted in Toronto, where it just so happens the Suicide Squad movie is set to begin filming.

Not only does the timing of his visit strain credulity -- as Captain Barbosa would say -- but the fact there are pictures of him in town and apparently on the set seem to indicate there's a strong possibility Batman is going to make a small appearance in Suicide Squad.

Check out the details.

From ComicBookMovie.Com:

eTalk has confirmed that Ben Affleck is in Toronto, surely no sheer coincidence when Suicide Squad is now shooting in the city (others seen arriving include Will Smith (Deadshot) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller)). They even have photos to prove it, and you have to imagine that Affleck's presence is so he can make some sort of cameo appearance in the movie as Batman. We won't post the photos here - they're watermarked and basically just feature Ben Affleck wearing a jacket- but head on over to the site by clicking below if you're particularly curious to check them out.
UPDATE: Forget about just arriving in Toronto. It looks like Affleck is on the set of Suicide Squad...

Now this picture of Affleck supposedly on the set hasn't been 100 percent confirmed, so don't have a nerdgasm just yet, but in all likelihood he is there to either shoot a cameo for Suicide Squad or maybe some kind of after credit stinger for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

I think it would be a wise move on the part of DC and Warner Bros. to have Batman cameo in the movie or to have the cast of Suicide Squad in a stinger for BvS, as this is a great way to establish the connectivity of the DC Cinematic Universe.

So what do you think? Is this just a coincidence? Would you like to see Batman in the new Suicide Squad movie? Sound off down below!
