Yesterday's new episode of the flash was an interesting one, revealing many storylines that I personally wasn't expecting to see until the beginning of season 2. I'm going to go through and tell you the most interesting moments in my point of view.
1. Iris knows.
Iris found out that Barry is the flash in this episode, in a very interesting way. Earlier in the episode, Iris had been researching metas, and she was almost spot on. Later in the episode, Flashback time, Iris is sitting at Barry's bedside while he was in a coma, and he gives her a minor electric shock when she touches him. At the end of the episode, the flash (Barry), tells Iris to stay safe, while holding her hands, and as he runs away, he again gives her an accidental shock, and Iris instantly recognizes it, connects the dots, and BAM.
2. Eddie/Eobard bonding time
At the end of the episode, when Eddie is about to pop the question to Iris, (I'll get to it later) Eobard Thawne kidnaps Eddie Thawne, ring and all, and talks to him about how he is not Harrison, and how he is from the future. In one of the last episodes, we observed the gory face-stealing of Harrison, and so we know what Eobard actually looks like, and he does look a damn lot like Eddie.
The whole storyline is really messed up, but it is slightly more clear to the viewer, and even more clear to comic book readers, however the characters are confused as hell, which is probably why Eddie took the whole situation as focused around him, which was pretty funny.
3. No vibe???
Do you remember all of those trailers, when we saw Carlos Valdes with those kickass glasses, and everyone assumed that they were turning him into vibe within the next few episodes? Well, there's a saying. when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me. Get it??? Ass u me? *everyone laughs* Anyway, they are not vibe glasses. Instead they are DREAM glasses, and they helped the future vibe go into his dream, and tell Barry, Joe and Caitlin all about it. Disappointment.
Thats it for episode 20, The trap, I hope you enjoyed.
