While Netflix has long been my preferred TV binging tool, the day-after airing option of Hulu has always piqued my interest. Although I've held back on committing myself to a second online entertainment subscription thus far, Hulu just upped the ante by recently striking a deal with AMC.

If you're anything like me, you're interested in seeing what Fear the Walking Dead has in store for us. The other day, Hulu exclusively signed for the rights to stream the AMC's The Walking Dead spinoff that shows what happened before the end.

Hulu programming Chief Craig Erwich stated during his NewsFront presentation:

FX and AMC are the most important contributors to the new golden age of television. Our competitors have some of their libraries, but we will have all of their future.

So instead of waiting for seasons to finish and be uploaded to Netflix, now fans can tune in on a weekly basis but with the flexibility of streaming! There's still no word on what other shows were tied into this deal, but they could have reached agreements on any of AMC's network's other channels (IFC, BBC America, Sundance TV, WE tv and IFC Films).

So if you want to tune in for Fear the Walking Dead outside of its scheduled programming, it looks like a Hulu subscription might be a must!

Fear the Walking Dead will air on AMC starting this summer.
