A few weeks ago, with a mind blowing Star wars 7 trailer, we got a small peek at Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. Theres not a lot to say about it. It didn't totally fulfill what I wanted for it, but then again I didn't have the bar set pretty high.
Here it is if you missed it:
So lets look at the pros and cons really quick:
- Cool view of batman's new suits.
- An ok voiceover, restating what we already know
- Bat mobile!
- A little to harsh on Superman in my opinion
- A failed attempted at creating a big moment that was "false god"
- Not showing us much we didn't know
What Im calling, "The do you bleed moment"
Really not that cool. And yes, Im pretty sure he does. This whole trailer kinda feels like every frame is trying to be something people remember. They need to take a hint from "Your all puppets...... tangled in strings", or "chewy.....were home."
How to fix it.
You can't. just kidding, but seriously, its gonna be tough. I think DC is focusing way to much on the fight between the superheroes than actually making a plot that will keep people on the edge of their seats. Age of Ultron is doing a great job of that by throwing in Vision to their plot. DC hasn't been showing us much new in their cinematic universe. It kinda feels like everything is leading up to Justice League, but we're never gonna get there. DC has been doing much better than Marvel with their shows like flash and arrow though, so its not all bad.
In conclusion, not much excitement so far but it is pretty early, and I respect them not wanting to give too much away yet, but It'd be nice to see something cool to keep us pumped. At this point, all we can do is wait.
Thank you for reading this, I'm brand new to this so I appreciate it, and any help you can give in the comments would be awesome.
