Aw yeah! It's a great time to be a superhero fan! With Avengers: Age of Ultron finally being released to amazing shows like Daredevil and The Flash...it's just great. Batman v Superman is also widely anticipated, and now we may finally have a look at another hero's full costume. Or, to be more precise, a heroine's costume.
On April 30, 2015, high resolution promo art leaked for Batman and Superman, which you can see here.
Here's the Amazon Warrior!
The quality of the first Wonder Woman caped image (seen above) is not that good, and the source is from the Blu-Ray forums, but I would say it's legitimate.
The second Wonder Woman caped image is much better and was posted by former Latino-Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez a.k.a. El Mayimbe. Below is the raw image by itself.
I really like what I'm seeing from head to toe! The colors are much brighter than the first reveal and the poses are very epic.
Both art pieces definitely look like the merchandising art that would appear in a children's book about the film, much like the Man of Steel children's books. For comparison, here's the very first picture of the DC Cinematic Universe's Wonder Woman, unveiled during the 2014 Comic-Con:
The one new thing here is the cape... or cloak! Of course, it's very useful if it's cold. I mean, the Dawn of Justice trailer does show it raining in Gotham City. Aside from that, it has an awesome effect.
Wonder Woman has worn a cape on several occasions...it just hasn't always been blue and gold and feather-like. Based on this new image, I'm really digging it. Diana looks serious (as she should) and eagle-like. It's fantastic and looks very heroic. I'm also sure that she won't be wearing it for the entire time she's on screen.
Stay tuned for further updates on the World's Greatest Superheroes!
Do you like this costume--but with the cape/cloak?
