This is pretty exciting seeing the full cast suited up to say the very least but what is more surprising is Katana, Slipnot and El Diablo. Let's start off with Katana

KATANA!

Well her costume is pretty spectacular, previously thought to be Plastique, Karen Fukuhara can be seen in the very comic accurate attire as the sword wielding bad-ass Katana!

How does this affect Arrow though? If you have seen the preview to "This is your sword" you will see a fully suited Katana. We're at another double actor for same character conundrum for DC. The one question I have to ask is why? Why would they deliberately make plans for both actors to pursue the role of Katana and add to the "confusion" of having two actors portray one character. I say confusion because it's really not all that confusing. I will touch on that issue in a later article but next character!

El Diablo

Honestly, I was expecting a King Shark Incarnation through this movie but my wishes were not granted. El Diablo is rather unknown to non comic book readers so here's a brief description of him through some wikipedia "Lazarus Lane is the original El Diablo, operating in the latter half of the 19th century in the American Old West. Lane was originally a bank teller who is nearly killed by a gang of thieves and put in a coma after being struck by lightning. After being revived by a Native American shaman named "Wise Owl", Lane becomes a vigilante and called himself El Diablo.[1] The name El Diablo means "the devil" in Spanish."

I'm very questionable when it comes to his role on the team and how they are going to use his back story or if they will but it will be pretty neat to see how they're going to go with this. If they use the origin story from the comic books this could be a key to how the DC universe cinematic universe will be set up. Magic is really something that hasn't been done too much in movies from DC and even the Lazarus pit in the Dark Knight Trilogy was pretty much omitted.

Slipnot

To be quite frank, I have no idea who this guy was at first but according to wikipedia "Slipknot is taken along when the threat of the Manhunters arises on earth during the Millennium crisis. A stronghold of Manhunter robots is discovered deep in American swamplands not far from the Suicide Squad's own base located in the Belle Reve prison. Slipknot and the Squad, including members such as Bronze Tiger, Rick Flagg, and Captain Boomerang are sent in to escort the "Baby Huey" (a car-bomb laced with an experimental high yield explosive) on a search and destroy mission. Slipknot discusses the 'arm band bombs' with Captain Boomerang. These deterrent devices are placed on the less trustworthy members and are set to explode if the person goes too far out of range. Captain Boomerang states that he believes the bombs are fake. This is enough for Slipknot. When he discovers his talent for strangling is useless against robots he makes a run for it into the swamp. The device begins beeping and flashing an alarm but Slipknot ignores the warning and once he gets out of range, his right arm is blown off. Boomerang, who had not been sure of the bomb's reality himself, thinks 'better you than me'. Following the success of the mission, in which the Manhunter base is destroyed and the Squad's medic Karin Grace is sacrificed, Slipknot is found, weakened and bleeding but still alive, by Duchess (Lashina in disguise)."

After reading this maybe we will see some Manhunter reference or even see one which would really be cool to see in the movies and how the heroes will react across the whole cinematic landscape.

Is that Enchantress or the Grudge in the back near Rick Flagg?!

Honestly I'm iffy on how she looks but again it's a pretty zoomed out image.

Costumes

These costumes are really nice on the eyes and I think Will Smith will have his infamous eye piece on by the middle of the movie. Killer Crock looks a little too grounded in my opinion, but I do like the look that he has. Katana's costume is pretty much flawless and Harley Quinn's costume is spot on for a more grounded world.

One thing to note...Where is Mr. J?

He's missing from the cast shot of the whole crew, where is he? Also where is Amanda Waller? They probably don't want to give us too much so we can speculate and go nuts on the joker's dress attire but I still wish we could see something more than this tattooed picture up above.
