The 'Girls' actor has been confirmed as Star Wars' new villain.

Earlier today, Vanity Fair released a behind-the-scenes video promoting their upcoming issue which features [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158) as the cover story. In the video we see Adam Driver, star of Inside Llewyn Davis and HBO's Girls, dressed in a black costume similar to that worn by Kylo Ren in the first two trailers.

There's been a lot of speculation as to who will play the antagonist of Episode VII, but Vanity Fair have released an image of Driver in full costume (sans helmet) confirming that he will indeed play the 'next-generation bad guy'.
