So like many, if not all of you, my weekend was spent freaking out about how amazing Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron was. I mean can it really get any better than that! Wow, just WOW!!!

Ok, but this isn't a review of the movie, but rather a speculation of one of the things that Ultron said to the Avengers as he was dialogging with them about why humanity needs to be eradicated. While in his speech of this leads to thats, Ultron says, "and Invaders lead to Avengers."

Invaders lead to Avengers...

Hmmmm... to the average movie goer, to many of us Moviepilot junkies and MCU nerds we may have just put two and two together and assumed Mr. Ultron was referring the Avengers' first outing, where they were drawn together do to an Invasion of Alien warriors led by Loki; hence Invaders lead to Avengers.

Chitauri Invasion of New York...
Chitauri Invasion of New York...

But I believe there is something that we all have missed...

Yes I believe that Ultron was referring to something much deeper, and to the true Marvel comic fans, the term Invaders means so much more... it was the first Superhero teamup!

thats right! the forerunners to the Avengers!

Now the Invaders have had many heros join their ranks, but as for the MCU's concern lets look at four...

First: Captain American, the First Avenger

kickin' butt since the 1940s...
kickin' butt since the 1940s...

we all know him so no need to delve into Mr. Steve Rogers any more...

then there was: Bucky Barnes, know to us know as the Winter Soldier

just best friends from Brooklyn...
just best friends from Brooklyn...

In the Comics, Bucky is Cap's sidekick and fights by his side til his "death", which we saw a version of in Captain America: the First Avenger.

here is where it gets fun: the Human Torch

and no not this guy...

yeah... NO
yeah... NO

but rather, this guy...

yeah...
yeah...

or how about these...

conviced...

Yeah so that is from Captain America: the First Avenger, and has kinda been unofficially officially confirmed... please read more about our friend the Human Torch here

In the comics, a Brooklyn scientific genius, Phineas Horton, created an android that gained a measure of sentience. However, when he was initially exposed to the atmosphere, the oxygen caused him to burst into flames. This, of course, threw the general populace into a general panic.
Over time, he learned to control his flames (and, eventually gained the power of flight by directing his flames behind him as would a rocket). -Moviepilot Ed Looney, MCU's Original Avengers: The Human Torch, Captain America and... Prince Namor??? posted January 25th

lastly we have: Prince Namor

Fans have long waited for this movie, but sadly we have yet to see it. This is likely due to the unknowns about movie rights and who exactly owns him... but in more recent times there has been hints to Marvel having regained his rights. One hint like this little Iron Man 2 easter egg...

possible, I think yes!!!
possible, I think yes!!!

So in conclusion... Ultron may have been teasing something future, say Phase 4, with a Human Torch movie, a Namor movie, heck how about an Invaders Netflix series... could be fun...

let me know what y'all think...

Poll

am I crazy or could this be real...
