May the 4th be with you everyone! That's right, its annual Star Wars day and what have we got to celebrate the occasion? A whole bunch of reveals from Vanity Fair Magazine for "The Force Awakens".

First off we got confirmation that Adam Driver is playing the villainous Kylo Ren who as we saw in the last trailer is working alongside the Empire or as they're now titled "The First Order". Many of us speculated ever since the first teaser that Driver had been cast as the villain and I've always stood by that I think it's a great casting decision.

Personally this was something I didn't want to be confirmed until I got to see [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158) as it would have been a nice reveal, but perhaps it wasn't intended to be a twist or surprise in the film.

Although someone who looks a hell of a lot like Driver was seen sporting a Rebel X-Wing Pilot uniform way back when shooting first began, so I'm guessing the character switches his allegiance part way through the film.

LUPITA NYONG'O is a CGI Character

Many fans speculated that Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong'o would be playing a villain when she was first cast but it looks as if she'll be playing a character through the art of Performance Capture. The character Nyong'o is playing is named Maz Kanata and we're not sure which side of the Resistance (Rebel Alliance) she's on.

The official caption for this photo was "Galactic travelers, smugglers, and other assorted riffraff fill the main hall of pirate Maz Kanata’s castle." So by that it's safe to assume Kanata is an important figure in the new Star Wars universe.

POE DAMERON is the "Best Frickin' Pilot in the Galaxy"

Oscar Isaac has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood right now, being acclaimed for performances in "Inside Llewyn Davis" and "A Most Violent Year" to being in gigantic blockbusters such as next years "X-Men Apocalypse" as the villain and of course as X-Wing Pilot Poe Dameron in "The Force Awakens".

Isaac seems very happy with his character as at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim earlier this year he called him "the best frickin' pilot in the galaxy!".

Location! Location! Location!

This is JJ Abrams directing Daisy Ridley as she speeds through a bustling marketplace on the planet Jakku. We have yet to know Rey's full name, yet many of us assume it will be Kira Rey Solo.

One of our many gripes on the Star Wars prequels is that everything was shot on a soundstage, we never saw any practical locations. JJ Abrams promised us this that we wouldn't have to worry about that again and he was right. The planet that we now know is Jakku not Tatooine is being shot on an actual location instead of being shot on a green screen which is it easily could have been, and that should make any Star Wars fan happy!

As many of us predicted, "Game Of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie is playing the Chrome Trooper we know now is called Captain Phasma. And I's not a great name, but Boba Fett doesn't sound very intimidating either. Hopefully the character will elevate the name once we see her in action.

The official cover released for this very special edition of Vanity Fair should make Star Wars fans feel right at home, as its shows old timers Han Solo (Ford) and Chewbacca (Mayhew) in the cockpit of the "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" along with newcomers Finn (Boyega), Rey (Ridley) and droid BB-8.

Vanity Fair also released a video showing different shots from the highly anticipated sequel:

Are you guys happy with these new reveals? Or feel like they give away too much? Either way let me know in the comments!
