I went and saw Age of Ultron last Thursday night and I will admit, IT WAS REALLY GOOD. But with that being said, I saw recall many things that could have been done better. I will repeat, it was a really good movie, and I would suggest it to anyone, but with an hour and a half of removed footage, Joss Whedon said, there was a lot of screen time that was not used to its full advantage. For example, personally I really didn't like the joke with War Machine (Don Cheadle) and i felt like that wasted valuable time that could have been used better. I wish that the character of Ultron would have had more screen time to explain his thinking (or whatever he does since he is A.I.). The credit screen was kinda garbage. I mean with the known release of Infinity Wars, it didn't surprise anyone that has been a fan over multiple movies. I kinda wish there would have been a reveal of maybe say Black Panther... Or Spiderman.... or any other character, but that's just the fanboy in me.
Overall, I was very happy with the movie. I loved quicksilver and scarlet witch. The love relationship between Black Widow and Bruce Banner did not seem forced to me, but it did feel rushed. Vision is super cool and I cannot wait to see him in the next movies. And if I were to give an award for any of the heroes, it would be to Hawkeye. Like many others, I didn't like Hawkeye in the first avengers, but in this one he completely changed my mind. Jeremy Renner killed every joke that was thrown his way, and this movie gave me a heart for the character. He was by far the biggest change between movies for me. I think with any movie that gets as much hype as Age of Ultron got, it will not live up to expectations to the die-hard fans. It did however show that Marvel knows what they are doing and this makes me very excited for the movies to come.
