That's right guys, it was confirmed by Kevin Feige himself. This Article does contain spoilers to the post credits scene in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
At the end of Avengers 2 : Age Of Ultron in the post credits scene, we see an angry Thanos reach into a safe of some sorts and pull out his Infinity Gauntlet. He says "Fine. I'll do it myself." and that's where the movie ends.
Kevin Feige promised an explanation on why Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet in the first place. If you can recall in the first Thor movie, there was a scene that took place in Odin's vault when the frost giants went in there to retrieve the Bifrost. Odin noticed their presence and sent the Destroyer to kill them. In the midst of their execution you can see the Infinity Gauntlet in the background in Odin's vault. So the fans were curious on how Thanos got the Infinity Gauntlet out of Asgard. Well according to Kevin Feige during an interview with CinemaBlend he said:
“There are two different gloves,”
“That was not Odin’s vault that you see at the end.”
I'm not sure if the stones on the glove in the picture have any power. I highly doubt it. It's been said at the end of Thor 2 when Siff and Volstagg visit the Collector that it's not safe to have two stones so close to each other. So these stones in Thor are most likely for display.
