They say a watched pot never boils, and a much-scrutinized paranormal hotspot seems to live by the same premise...unless of course, the eyes happen to be a stealthy camera lens on the wall.
People have claimed to successfully photograph ghosts, but some say this security footage shows living, (not) breathing ghosts walking among us.
Check out these 5 instances of paranormal footage below and see if you're convinced:
1. The Phantom Shopper
In a supermarket in Whitstable, Great Britain, a security camera captures a bizarre hovering item behind an unsuspecting shopper's head as he peruses the aisles. The woman we can hear on the footage attributes it to poltergeist activity, but are you convinced?
2. Biceps from Beyond the Veil
This fitness fanatic phantom tripped motion detectors on a high tech security system no less that nine times, but is there another more logical explanation for this mysterious orb?
3. Shoved By the Spirit World?
Cecilia Carasso claims that she was forcibly pushed over by a mysterious force which resulted in her being hospitalized for her injuries. She told the press that:
"I wasn't aware of anybody in front of me as I passed the reception desk talking to a girl, and as I looked towards the receptionist I suddenly felt two pairs of hands shove me over. I hit the floor but when I looked up I couldn't see anybody, and I thought they probably had run off. When the receptionist told me that there was nobody there, I didn't believe them until they showed me the footage. Now I am convinced that it was a ghost because I felt the hands even though there was nobody around."
4. The Most Haunting Place on Earth
This ghostly footage of what appears to be a human figure taking a stroll through Disney Land in Florida is probably some of the most convincing footage ever captured, but could it just be a clever trick of the light?
5. Earth Shattering Evidence
This antiques shop in Barnsley, Great Britain, is reportedly a hotbed of poltergeist activity, so imagine the owner's horror when they saw this footage of a glass cabinet exploding in an empty room. Chilling.
