Ryan Gosling created a Vine account over the weekend, but it wasn't to promote any upcoming film projects, instead it was to pay tribute to a fan who made Gosling the subject of a popular Internet meme

Ryan McHenry died this past weekend after a battle with bone cancer, however before he passed away he gave the world the gift of the "Ryan Gosling Won't Eat His Cereal" meme. Don't know what that is? Check out the video compilation below and enjoy the simple hilarity of it all:

After McHenry's videos went viral, and before the 27-year-old passed away he told The Verge that the only natural conclusion to the meme was an obvious one:

As a filmmaker, I like to have a conclusion to things. The only conclusion I can see out of this whole thing is to have Ryan Gosling respond to this. Even if it’s just him eating cereal.

Well this week in tribute to the man who made him a meme, Ryan Gosling finally broke down and ate his cereal, and he posted it all on Vine for us all to see:

In addition to his touching Vine creation, Ryan Gosling also Tweeted his condolences to the McHenry's family.

R.I.P. Ryan McHenry.
