The speculation on how Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries will end is raging more than ever, with the spotlight shining brightly on how Elena will exit the show and how Delena's epic romance will end.
It seems less and less likely that Elena Gilbert will die, despite her fragile human form, and now Kat Graham has come forward to say how, according to her, the ending might not be the sob fest that we have been expecting. The 25-year-old actor who plays Bonnie explained to TV Guide that:
"I don't know if it's a sad thing. Change for a lot of us, for anyone, is very difficult, but I wouldn't say the episode is going to leave you sad. I think, I'm hoping, people will be excited for what's next and our journey as a family together. I'm actually happy [because] I think there is some risk-taking in the finale. Even if one chapter closes, sometimes people don't really deal with things and they don't end things how they need to, and I'm excited for the fans to see that."
While I'm totally excited to see the risk-taking that Graham is talking about in the finale, I can't help but be a bit worried by the idea of the characters not dealing with things that need to be resolved...
Is it just me, or does this sound like a recipe for some seriously messy loose ends for us to unravel at the beginning of Season 7? I realize that it's essential that some trailing threads remain so we can follow the storyline, but I'm desperate for Elena's story to have a clean ending.
Sorry guys, but I still say we should kill her!
How do you want Elena's story to end?
