If you thought that Regina George's mom in Mean Girls was the Queen of Embarrassing Moms, think again: Jennifer Aniston may be giving her a run for her money!

Let's remember just how awesomely cringeworthily brilliant Mrs. George was, played to perfection by Amy Poehler. Quote along if you can...

Now the Mean Girls spirit lives on as spin off project Mean Moms is in the works - and could be starring none other than Jennifer Aniston, according to Deadline Hollywood. Is that a dream come true or what?

Let's not forget that Jennifer Aniston is a talented comedy actress, and right from her early days in Friends always managed to pull some laughs. I mean - TRIFLE, anyone?

Complex has confirmed that Mean Moms will NOT include major crossover characters, so sadly there will be no more Mrs. George, but the movie is expected to embrace the same kind of smart comedy that made 2004's Mean Girls a cult classic.

Mean Moms, like Mean Girls, is a loose comedic adaptation of Rosalind Wiseman's educational advice guides, with the new project taking its outline from her book Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads: Dealing With The Parents, Teachers, Coaches, And Counselors Who Can Make—Or Break—Your Child’s Future.

I'm pretty excited to see Jennifer Aniston tackle this caliber of comedy, especially after her wonderful turn as the horny dentist in Horrible Bosses...

The plot of Mean Moms is unclear at the moment, but there are rumors that Jennifer Aniston's character will move into a wealthy suburb and lock horns with the local Mean Moms.

It's a risky venture given how much fans love Mean Girls, but I say bring it! I can't wait to see what Jen and the gang are gonna show us...
