Well, here I am. Trevor Slattery, ready to tell you my whole life story! Hah! I can't believe it, I really can't. So I guess you're all wondering why I was an accomplice to Aldrich Killian, why I faked becoming a terrorist... and all that.

I've wanted to be an actor since I saw my first play. It was a crummy version of A Year with Frog and Toad, at a local theater. It amazed me that there were people, real people, who made their living pretending to be other people.

I acted in school, majored in theater in college... and then, of course, I found out what every young actor eventually learns, don't we? That very, very few people ever make a living pretending to be other people, and that many, many people try. And learning how to look real sad doesn't leave you with many bloody career options, now does it? The years after college was the worst moment of my life, and it lasted years. I was homeless. I lived under a bridge for a while, and then...

Well, and then it happened. The thing I'm here for. The thing you want to know. Aldrich Killian, his name was. Of course, I didn't know that at the time. All I knew was this man, this stranger, found me under the bridge and wanted to give me money-more money than I'd ever seen in my life-to pretend to be another person. It was literally my one dream, my one bloody dream, that I've ever had in my entire life, and now it was coming true. I can't describe to you the way that felt, but I hope to God you get to feel it one day.

Of course you know the rest. You know who I was pretending to be. You know how that ended. You know what Killian wanted, and you know what happened afterwards. When the person I was pretending to be arrived.

But, of course, that's another story, right?
