Since Disney acquired Lucasfilm way back in 2013, fans have been wondering whether or not we'll be seeing a continuation or a reboot of "Indiana Jones", their second most beloved franchise and one that really sky rocketed Harrison Ford to stardom.

Now we have our first piece of confirmation that we will be seeing Indy on the big screen again in the near future. The following quote is from Vanity Fair:

In buying the company, Disney also got rights, for better or worse, to less-storied Lucasfilm properties, among them Willow and Radioland Murders. A bigger prize is the Indiana Jones franchise. Kennedy confirmed rumors that another Indy movie “will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”

After almost two years of pure rumors and speculation, its great to finally hear the head of Lucasfilm come out and say there are definite plans to bring back this character.

There's still no word on whether original actor Harrison Ford will come back to the role (he has expressed interest) or that we'll be getting a new actor to reboot the franchise.

The last time we saw Indiana Jones was back in 2007 in "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". The movie was frowned on by fans yet did well with critics as it scored a 78% on Rotten Tomatoes. I personally like the movie, it's very entertaining for the most part and seeing Harrison Ford back as Indy was a dream come true.

This last effort has made fans wary of Ford coming back for a fifth time, a lot of fans hoping for a fresh face to take over the role; most notably Chris Pratt (Guardians Of The Galaxy), who fans seem to really want in the role.

I'm a huge Chris Pratt fan but I'm waiting to see how he fares in this Summer's "Jurassic World" before I make my mind on whether or not I want to see him in Indiana Jones 5.

Is this a good idea? I think....yes. Indiana Jones is one of Hollywood's most classic characters and there's plenty more to do with the character. The real issue is whether or not to bring back Ford. I would love to see him in the role for one last time before a new face steps in, just to give the fans a proper send off that they wanted from "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".

What about you guys, happy about Indiana Jones 5? And who do you want cast? Let me know down below!
