The man from U.N.C.L.E. is an upcoming spy action comedy and based on what has been seen the movie could be a hit or a miss. The concept of the movie is based upon a tv show of the same name that came out in 60's and was considered to be a cult classic that is cherished by an entire generation who grew up with the show. The newest warner bros movie seeks to compete with all of the other upcoming spy comedies that are swooping in this year including Kingsman the secret service which starred Taron Edgerton,Colin firth and Samuel L. jackson.

The film is set against the backdrop of the early 1960s period of the Cold War, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. centers on U.N.C.L.E. agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin. The two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find her and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

The premise of the film may sound cliche at first glance but let's face it, people are not going to watch the film solely because of the premise or the setting. People will most likely watch it because of an all star cast which consists of Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and Alicia Vikander. They could also want to view the film because they like spy action comedy movies or the simply like action movies or comedies. Then there is always Guy Ritchie who directed the movie and this alone would be a reason for people to watch this movie given his resume of films such as Sherlock Holmes,Rocknrolla, and Snatch. All of this proves that there are plenty of reasons why fans will be lining up to see this film.
