It's hard to believe it, but 10 years ago today, Friends aired its final episode ending on a whopping Episode 236! For a sitcom, it was a very long run and created new fans each year. Now with the series being added to Netflix this year, the show quickly found new fans to the franchise even after 10 years after its ending. So, where are our Friends now?

Jennifer Aniston - Rachel Green

Jennifer has been a very busy girl since she left Rachel happy with Ross 10 years ago. Moving away from TV, she has starred in some big film roles which include Along Came Polly (2004), Marley & Me (2008), The Bounty Hunter (2010), Horrible Bosses (2011), Horrible Bosses 2 (2014) and Cake (2015) just to name a few.

However Jennifer's love life has hit many bumps in the road as her career has grown. Until May 2011 when she announced she was in a relationship with actor, director and screenwriter Justin Theroux and in August 2012 the pair announced they were engaged. So much like how we saw Rachel burst in to Central Perk for the first time in a big white dress, we may see Jennifer soon in her own beautiful wedding dress.

Courteney Cox - Monica Geller

Courteney unlike Jennifer decided to be more diverse in her roles. While Jennifer has focused on feature films primarily, Courteney has opted to do both films and TV. Her best known TV roles include Dirt (2007-2008) and Cougar Town (2009-2015), while her films roles have seen her as the super-powered scientist in Zoom (2006) and reprising her role as Gale Weathers Riley in Scream 4 (2011). Her love life has been quite the opposite to Jennifer's sadly, as she was happily married to David Arquette until October 2010 when the pair announced they were separated and their divorce became final in May 2013. But she has found a happy end, as in late 2013 she announced she was dating Johnny McDaid from the band Snow Patrol and the pair announced their engagement in June 2014.

Lisa Kudrow - Phoebe Buffay

While Pheobe may have struggled to find love in Friend up until she met her husband Mike (portrayed by Paul Rudd) Lisa is still happily married to Michel Stern a French advertising executive whom she has a 17 year old son with (the writers of Friends wrote her pregnancy into the shows 3rd and 4th series so she didn't have to take time off). She has even taken her diversity of job roles in Hollywood further as along with acting in various TV shows including her reuniting with Cox on the set of Cougar Town for an episode and films which include P.S I Love You (2007) and Neighbors (2014), she has even turned her hand to producing and writing the web series Web Therapy (2008-present).

Matt LeBlanc - Joey Tribbiani

Matt left Friends, but didn't leave Joey far behind as he went straight into the spin-off series Joey which saw his character pursue his acting career further in LA. When the series ended after its second series in 2006 LeBlanc took a few years out of acting, but returned in 2011 in the show Episodes which he still stars in today. Much like Cox, his marriage ended to Melissa McKnight at the beginning of 2006, but it didn't take him long to move on as he began dating his co-star Andrea Anders from the show Joey. But even this has not lasted and it was confirmed the pair ended their relationship early this year. I am sure however it won't take him long to pull out a "How you doin'?" and find another lady in his life.

Matthew Perry - Chandler Bing

It is no secret that Perry has been in and out of rehab over the years for various addictions, however the good news is he seems to have been able to kick all those habits and stay clean for several years now. He has starred in several big films including the sequel The Whole Ten Yards (2004) and 17 Again (2009). He has also had many leading roles on the small screen from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006-2007), Mr. Sunshine (2011) which he co-created, Go On (2012-2013) and can be seen today starring in The Odd Couple as a main cast member. He also had a six year long relationship with Lizzy Caplan from 2006-2012, but regardless of his love life not quite matching the other cast members it is still amazing that he has managed to sort out his addition problems and we wish him many more years of sobriety.

David Schwimmer - Ross Geller

Well many will know David is the voice of everyone's favorite hypochondriac giraffe Melman from the Madagascar film series, but he has also turned his skills towards directing. He was the director of the films Run Fatboy Run (2007) and Trust (2008). He also direct several episodes of Joey as well as Little Britain USA (2008) and directed the pilot episode of Growing Up Fisher (2014). One thing that is good is unlike his character Ross, David has no divorces! In 2007 he began dating part-time photographer Zoe Buckman. In 2010 the pair were married and welcomed a daughter in 2011. He is also highly involved in helping victims of date rape and child rape through a treatment center in Santa Monica.

Closing Thoughts

While Friends may have ended 10 years ago, the laughter created by the show can still be heard. While some of the jokes are slightly dated now, it is still a highly enjoyable show with characters dealing with issues that everyone can relate to. While it may be sad the show ended, all good things must come to an end and with fans wanting a reunion movie there could still be hope for us to see the doors of Central Perk open once again.
