Just yesterday we found out that Hobbit actor Martin Freeman has joined the cast of [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) and now another impressive name has been added to the cast!

Paul Rudd who we'll see for the first time as Ant-Man this July is confirmed to appear in the upcoming Civil War film.

Captain America: Civil War has just begun shooting in Atlanta Georgia and the cast is huge!

Here's who is going to appear in the film:

Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) and Frank Grillo (Crossbones).

Now these are the names recently revealed:

Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Don Cheadle (War Machine) and William Hurt (General Ross). It's also been confirmed that Daniel Bruhl will be playing the villainous Baron Zemo and Martin Freeman is rumored to play Everett Ross, a government agent assigned to Wakanda.

The cast for this upcoming Marvel film is huge! It might as well be titled Avengers: Civil War. I'm loving the huge cast, Marvel certainly have enough heroes to do the Civil War story justice.

But lets talk about these new additions.

When casting first began for Ant-Man I was rooting for Paul Rudd to play the character even when his name hadn't even been rumored, I was so glad he got the part and can't wait for his standalone film this July. However I was wondering what the fate of his character would be, we hadn't heard about his inclusion in any upcoming Marvel properties, I was afraid we would have to wait until 2018 to see his character again, so his confirmation for Civil War makes me very happy. After the lack of Civil War set up in Avengers: Age Of Ultron I guessed that Ant-Man would lead the way into the next film, even in the trailer Hank Pym says "you give godlike powers to everyone, it's going to be chaos" and I thought that theme ties into Civil War very well. My guess it that Rudd's role in the film will be relatively small, as the screen has to be shared with a heap of other Marvel characters.

We know from the end of [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035) that Captain America has formed a new team, that team including Vision, Scarlet Witch, War Machine and Falcon as well as Black Widow. So I guessed that those members would be making appearances in the film. But where does their allegiance lie? After all we know that two opposing teams will be formed when Tony and Steve go their separate ways.

A very interesting addition to the cast is William Hurt, who you'll remember as General Ross from "The Incredible Hulk", he will be the only actor in the MCU to transition from "The Incredible Hulk" into another project, as Edward Norton, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth have not come back. I think he'll play a key role in the 'Superhero Registration Program'.

A big part of the story for Civil War is Iron Man and Captain America having opposing ideals, the synopsis goes as follow: Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age Of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Here's what I think the teams will look like:

Team Stark

Iron Man, Vision, Ant-Man, War Machine, Spider-Man (If he indeed appears).

Team America:

Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther.

Now those teams do look a bit uneven, but considering that Vision is a being off immense power, Caps team might need a one up in terms of numbers.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits theaters on May 6th 2016!

Are you guys happy with the huge cast and what do you think the teams will look like? Let me know down below!
