[Spoiler Alert] Please stop reading if you do not want to read information concerning Arrow, and The Flash!

There is no denying the success that The Flash, Arrow, and iZombie are bringing to The CW's lineup. Everyone loves a good comic book show, as long as it's done right. With The CW's track record thus far, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the network will add yet another superhero show to it's lineup. The CW has officially picked up the Arrow/Flash spinoff, titled DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

When the show was first announced, it was revealed that it will center on characters from both Arrow and The Flash, as well as a couple new heroes. But the team won't consist of just heroes, but villains too. It seemed odd that Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are slated to star on the show despite the duo being villains on The Flash. It seems that the duo had no choice in the matter. The CW released the following synopsis for the upcoming series:

When heroes alone are not enough, the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Who could this immortal threat be? Whatever this threat is, you can expect it to be a huge, huge deal if heroes and villains have to set their differences aside to prevent the end of the world, and possibly time itself!

While DC's Legends of Tomorrow hasn't filmed anything yet for the actual show, it doesn't mean you have to wait a whole year to see these guys in action.

The above image from Punkd_Images reveal The Arrow (Stephen Amell) in his normal attire, The Flash (Barry Allen), The Atom, Captain Cold, Hawkgirl, Dr. Martin Stein, and Caity Lotz. Viewers can expect to see this encounter during the final moments of The Flash, as confirmed by 'Legends' star Ciara Renée.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow will star Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom"), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heatwave), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Ciarra Renee (Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl), Franz Dramehand (Jay Jackson), and Caity Lotz in an unspecified role. The show is expected to air midseason in 2016 on The CW.
