In anticipation of the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal this summer. A brand new horror has emerged with great promise. This new apocalyptic horror is slated to be a contender for horror of the year.
Coming from directors Yoav and Doron Paz (Brothers) the trailer alone has many of us in the industry begging for more. Staring Yael Grobglas (Jane The Virgin) Yon Tumarkin, Tom Graziani, Danielle Jadelyn and shot almost entirely on location in Israel, this one is gonna be big.
“Jerusalem is normally seen through the lens of news coverage. We wanted to show the city through the eyes of a backpacker. There’s no better way to do it than a genre film,” says Doron Paz.
The premise is based on the scripture written in the Bhagavad Gita, a collection of Hindu scripture that states that on earth, there are three gates to Hell, one in the desert, one in the ocean and one in Jerusalem. It seems that things are about to to take a rather apocalyptic turn.
