So Uncharted 4 won't be getting its release date until 2016. But naturally, with the power of The Last of Us still resonating throughout the industry, we can't wait to see what else Naughty Dog will have in the pipeline. It's hard to believe that the company that made my favourite childhood game, Crash Bandicoot 2, are now making astoundingly cinematic games like Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us. Could they go back to older franchises after this evolution?

I wonder whether there's still place for more animated games within Naughty Dog, or within the industry in general outside of Japan. The West is obsessed with making the most realistic and cinematic experiences in Video Games, but sometimes it's more impressive to play an animated title. The Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter games still hold up to this day - but which series would you pick to get a new release date after Uncharted 4?

Could Crash Bandicoot & Jak and Daxter Get a Release Date After Uncharted 4?

Personally, I think that Naughty Dog's more adult and cinematic storytelling techniques can be seen in full motion in Jak 2. From then on, we saw them develop into Jak 3 and on into the Uncharted series. They've improved with every step along the way and I'm dying to find out what they have next. But do people think it would be a step back for the company to revive one of their older franchises?

Believe me, I love both Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter - I still play them to this day! I just wonder whether the modern gaming industry cares about them any more to actually fund a whole new instalment - Uncharted 4 will have a huge following. I'm sure that there are plenty of fans out there who'd love to see Jack and Crash return, but with such dramatic changes in the industry I don't think that Naughty Dog stand to make as much money off of these games as they do with their blockbuster titles.

It's sad to think, because a brand new Crash Bandicoot game running on the PS4 would literally be a dream come true. I'd even pick it over a revival of Jak and Daxter. But where do your loyalties lie gamers? Would you want to see Jak and Daxter 4 or a brand new Crash Bandicoot game get a release date following Uncharted 4? Let us know in the comments if you think it will ever be a possibility!
