So, ten full years have passed since Nanny McPhee got hired by Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) to take care of his seven children, so let's see just how they grew up...
Nanny McPhee - Emma Thompson
Emma Thompson returned as Nanny McPhee five years later and then two years later she played the MIB's director , two more after that she played in Harry Potter Movies, The Love Punch, Brave and will voice Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast.
Mr. Brown - Colin Firth
Colin Firth is one of my favorite actors. He has been busy with a lot of movies since 2005 and had a lot of success in 2011 in particular.
He won the Oscar for Best Actor for his commanding leading role, playing British King George VI in The King's Speech (2010). He was also in The Last Legion, Then She Found Me, The Accidental Husband, Mamma Mia!, A Single Man, A Christmas Carol, Gambit, Magic in the Moonlight and one of my favorites, Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Nowadays, he has two movies in post-production and one to be released in 2016.
Simon - Thomas Brodie-Sangster
Well, he grew up nicely.
He has played in a lot of famous movies and TV shows and even starred in another movie with Colin Firth, The Last Legion. He has been in Doctor Who (Tim Latimer, a boy who can see the future), Human Nature, The Family of Blood and as Jojen Reed in Game of Thrones.
He also starred in The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Evangeline - Kelly Macdonald
After Lassie, Kelly didn't act in a movie for an entire two years. She was in No Country for Old Men, The Merry Gentelman and played quite a significant role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. She is also the voice of one of our favorite Pixar characters, Merida from Brave.
Tora - Eliza Bennett
Eliza got a kickstart on her acting career with Nanny McPhee and continued doing movies from a young age on, like Inkheart, From Time to Time, Perfect Life and and more than five different running TV series.
She was also nominated by Broadway Music World Awards UK as Leading Actress for her role Holly Manson in Loserville.
Aunt Adelaide - Angela Lansbury
Angela Lansbury hasn't changed a lot in these past ten years.
Years later, she is still a strong woman and actively takes upon roles. She has played in some movies we will always love, like Mr. Popper's Penguins and Driving Miss Daisy.
She was awarded the DBE (Dame Commander of the British Empire) in the 2014 Queen's New Year Honours List for services to drama and for charitable and philanthropic services.Source
