Warning: Possible Game of Thrones spoilers ahead.
No one can deny the massive impact that the TV series Game of Thrones is currently having worldwide. After four and a half seasons, the show continues to move from strength to strength as it creeps closer and closer to catching up with the book series still being furiously written by author George R.R. Martin.
As any Game of Thrones fan knows, absolutely no character is safe from death, and at any moment there may be some sort of catastrophic event which seemingly wipes out half of the main cast. By stark (heh) comparison, Disney films have very few gruesome deaths, and the deaths they do have, while disturbing, are not normally on the same level as GoT (for obvious reasons), which is why this awesome fan art mashup from Brazilian art studio Combo Estudio is so fantastic.
Various artists from Combo Estudio have used their extensive skills to turn some of our favorite rugged Game of Thrones characters into their significantly cuter Disney counterparts, check out the Disneyfied Game of Thrones for yourself:
Firstly get yourself into the spirit of it all with the Game of Thrones theme song:
Even in Disney-form, Tyrion won't be seen with out a cup of some sort of alcoholic liquid in hand. I can't help but wonder if he's relaxing in those plush cushions at some sort of brothel as well...
Arya Stark and The Hound
One of my favorite pairs in Season 4 of Game of Thrones, I imagine The Hound and Arya as a Disney movie would be like some sort of odd-couple adventure comedy.
Does anyone else think that Cersei would be a perfect Disney villain? I love that she's got Tyrion's wanted poster in one hand, and a glass of wine in the other - especially after all the banter between Cersei and Margaery over her drinking in Season 5!
Bran and Hodor
Let's face it, Bran and Hodor are sort of already a Disney pair in Game of Thrones anyway.
Daenerys and Drogon
Drogon may look cute and adorable, and Daenerys may look like she's laying down the law, but I think Game of Thrones fans all know that that girl is a bit out of her depth with those dragons at the moment!
Jon Snow and Ghost
One of the four remaining Dire Wolves (assuming Nymeria is still in the wild somewhere), Ghost is clearly the best of the litter and has proved invaluable to Jon Snow on the Wall and beyond. They'd definitely be an Aladdin and Abu-type duo.
Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister
If Jaime and Brienne starred in a Disney film, I have no doubt that their antics would have ultimately ended in some sort of storybook romance, in fact I could totally imagine Brienne being lovingly taught how to dance by a very sweet Jaime.
Unlike Cinderella, I have no doubt that Varys's little birds are telling him much more sinister things!
I can't help but get a totally Hades-from-Hercules vibe from this white walker, which just makes me hope that the real white walkers in Game of Thrones turn out to be totally sassy and fabulous villains.
Oberyn and The Mountain
Ouch, this one still hurts.
