While I consider myself a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I'm not particularly familiar with the source material. I know, I know, it's awful. *hangs head in shame*

Since I was too preoccupied with Star Wars and Harry Potter to keep up with the adventures of the coolest superheroes, there's a distinct disconnect between the characters I picture in my head (aka the ones from the movies) and what they really looked like in the comic books.

Recently, Imgurian Exactioni helped bridge this gap a bit by posting a gallery showing the Avengers from [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035) alongside their comic book looks of the past. Take a look at them here to see how much the characters have evolved in their transition from page to screen:

The only thing that I would change about the movie costumes would be that both Captain America and Thor's helmets should include the little wings. Let's get that idea trending!

Other than that, I think both versions of the characters look great! Which do you prefer?
