The first footage of Megan Fox filming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has emerged, but there is something even more exciting than the 27-year-old statuesque brunette for hardcore Turtle fans and nostalgia lovers.
Megan Fox was joined by another glamorous lady on set, but I'll leave you guys to try and guess who she is from the amateur footage below:
Do you recognize that signature red, bouffant hair yet?
Or maybe those shapely calves are jogging some primal teenage memories?
Have you guessed yet?
I know it's hard to tell , but the woman in the shaky footage is none other than Judith Hoag, the original live-action April O'Neal, to write and fight her way into our hearts. Yep, this one:
The original April was sassy, hilarious, and in possession of some supreme '90s hair that meant that most of us would have voluntarily put our foot in a bear-trap to be this guy:
It's unknown what role Hoag will play in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, but it's been verified that Turtles fans across the world exploded with glee at the mere sight of her.
Although Hoag dazzled as April O'Neil back in 1990, she's not a household name, so what has she been up to since the turtles?
Turtle Power Time Flies
Age in TMNT: 21 years old
Age Now: 46 years old
What's She Been Up To? You might remember Hoag from roles such as Denise Chappel in Armageddon, Rebecca in Salt, and as Gwen Cromwell Piper in the Disney Halloweentown series of TV movies. More recently, Hoag had a small role in 2012's Hitchcock alongside Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Hopkins.
After TMNT, Hoag is probably best known for her guest roles in over 40 shows from Sons of Anarchy to ER. She currently has a longstanding role in Nashville as Tandy Hampton.
Fun Turtles Trivia: Robin Williams, who was a huge Turtles fan, helped Judith Hoag learn about her character through his comic book collection. The pair were co-starring in Cadillac Man when TMNT went into production.
