Heey what's up guys? Had one of my first A-Level exams today so I thought it'd be more fun to end my day on a more fun note, so here we go!

Now I am sure we are all familiar with what comic book movies have a more dark tone and what comic book movies have a more fun tone. Marvel Studios has always been known for their light-hearted, fun but thrilling tone to each entry of their Marvel Cinematic Universe, whilst DC Comics are known for their more realistic and dark tone to each of their more recent movies.

What fans have been speculating is that, will Marvel ever have this kind of tone? Will Marvel ever feature a more gritty version of Iron Man or Thor? Well today that question has ultimately been answered for us by none other, to sum up what he said, here you go

"There is no dark turn in the MCU. He says every year fans come up to him and ask him if this movie is when the MCU goes ‘dark’ or takes a ‘dark’ turn. He said while the trailers may seem ominous or have a sense of impending doom, the movies do not have that feel, and will not. He said he ‘Hoped people would catch on by now’ - there will be no giant dark turns in the MCU where it then continues to head in that direction. The humor is in the DNA of the movies, there are no plans to change that."

Obviously these fans have come straight off DC films and expected some kind of change, but why would they change? Like Feige said, the humour is in the DNA of the movies, it's what makes them so special and if you couldn't guess, it's what makes the film so appealing so several different demographics.

If you are still looking for this change, then I definitely recommend you going ahead and watching the Netflix show Daredevil, it is truly fantastic, the show is without a doubt one of the, if not the most realistic comic book TV show's yet.

The next instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Captain America: Civil War and will gets its release May 6th, 2016.
