Just in case these 19th century 'talking' dolls weren't already creepy enough with their warn out 'voices', a US Government Laboratory had to go and make them that much creepier by digitizing the original voice recordings from the 1800's. These rare dolls, which were originally released to the public in 1890, are believed by historians to be some of the 'earliest entertainment records ever made'.

These super creepy children's toys were only in production for a total of six weeks, as many children found them far too scary to play with! The dolls also contain fragile wax recordings, which were often damaged during shipping.
