As every seasoned parent knows too well, even the sweetest of kids can turn into horrifying little monsters at the drop of a hat. Don't be fooled - it's often those who seem like sweet little princesses at first glance that are the ones to look out for, harboring a dark inner side that's very much to be feared.

Though a 'horrific Disney princess' might seem like an impossibly oxymoronic concept, I can assure you that they very much exist - and I've got the pictorial evidence to prove it! Check it out:

Rapunziple

Look away demon child, stop staring into the dark recesses of my soul! In all seriousness, this is one badass - not to mention wholly unsettling - costume.

One thing's for sure, this is NOT the Rapunzel we know from Tangled - can you imagine if the long-haired princess sported this gruesome face-zipper during the following scene?

I'm pretty sure there would've been some traumatized kids in the audience!

Moving away from the dark side of Disney, let's take a look at some other truly terrifying tots. One of these little horrors isn't actually real, but can you guess which one?

Chuckling Chuckie

Barely two feet high and already wielding a knife like a natural born serial killer!

The Undead Bride

This awesomely horrific corpse bride looks like she ate the entire wedding party for breakfast...and is still hungry.

Class Joker

If my future son turns out to be half as cool as this sinister Clown Prince, I'll have succeeded as a father.

Terror Comes in Tiny Packages

Zombie children have no mercy, especially ones in a strop.

Little Sister Wants Your Adam

"Hey sweetheart, what are you doing with that giant hypodermic needle? Oh, you want to harvest my body with it, how cute!"

Check out the seriously macabre little ladies in action below:

Is anyone else reminded of Uncle Fester from The Addams Family?
