Today appears to be a G'day for fans of Australian horror, as John Jarratt has seemingly confirmed a third installment of the Wolf Creek series.

Manly Movies caught up with Jarratt - who played Wolf Creek's psychotic outback pig/backpacker hunter Mick Taylor - and asked if a third movie is currently in production. He explained:

“It’s being developed, should shoot it next year. Great plot, secret of course.”

The second installment of the Wolf Creek franchise released in 2013 with a slightly different style. Although still true to the aesthetics of the original, the sequel also added more comic elements. It will be interesting to see where director Greg McLean takes the horror in this third outing.
