Before you say it, yes, I know Jason Rush was already in the Flash.

But that doesn't mean they can't do an adaptation of the character.

Here is the character description provided by the leaked casting details

‘Jay Jackson’ – a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew.

MYSTERY HERO | An African-American male in his twenties will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations

So, unexpected edition to the STAR Labs team. A member of the FIRESTORM matrix could be a possibility. Could he be the friend in Pittsburgh? Probably not, but whatever. We already saw the Firestorm Matrix in action, and we know that unless there is a pretty major rewrite, Martin Stein can't be Firestorm. If Jay Jackson and MYSTERY HERO are the same person, this could also be a possibility, maybe a hero already assembled by Rory (I refuse to call him Rip Hunter. It sounds too much like RIP. Rory, NOOOOOOOOOOO!) before/after he recruits the Legends (or whatever they're called)Extra Tidbit:- Did we see Dr. Wells in that trailer. Yes we did.Think about it. Ronnie Raymond. Jay Jackson. They even sound kind of similar. And now for my way out there suggestion:

John Stewart!

Extra Tidbit- Dun dun dun

Since Diggle sounds suspiciously like John Stewart, he could also be an adaptation of Hal Jordan, in case of the test pilot thing.

They said one of Ferris Air's test pilots went down, right? But does it have to be an exact version of Hal...

Again, this could be done adaptation style or they just disguised the name on the casting sheet, like what happens in several movies and shows.

Extra Tidbit: Jordan. Jackson. See what I mean about the name?

The auto mechanic could be actually like a plane fixer or whatever that is actually called, and he could have test piloted for them on the side. When he went down, he could've sought STAR labs because of their experience with people with powers, which definently could have been known in a half-season.

Or, he could be a future GL that Rip could have already recruited, so to speak.

Extra Tidbit: When the grass gets greener *sighs*

Or, a way out there suggestion

Although I think Damien Darkh and him are the same person, though

Extra Tidbit: Malcolm Merlyn as Ra's. OH SHITAUCKI MUSHROOMS. I'm scared. And Felicity and Oliver leaving definantly won't stick.
