Orphan Black is one of the best shows on television. If you have not been watching, then you need to start. If you've never watched the show before and want to check it out, both seasons 1 and 2 are available on Amazon Prime. I can't really compare the show to anything else because it's in its own league. No other show has a lead actress playing multiple characters in a believable fashion. No other show is this type of Sci-Fi. I can't praise this show enough and have successfully turned others onto it.
Season 3 is off to an amazing start. It's full of action, drama and crazy science. This season is focusing more on just the Leda clones. Another clone was introduced last season as Project Castor. A lot more of them are involved this season and they are much more unstable than the Leda clones. This is mainly due to the fact that they put these clones through a more intense lifestyle with torture and preparing them for army operations.
This show is great about making you feel attached to the characters. Out of the Leda clones, I can honestly say that I like all of them except for Rachel and the random guy one, Tony, who I'm pretending never existed. Tatiana Maslany is so talented. I used to be afraid of Helena, but she's so fun and I hate seeing her in the situation she's in. I'm interested to see if and how the Leda and Castor clones collaborate together to help each other out. We are only 4 episodes into Season 3, so there's still plenty of time for a lot of things to happen.
I'm not sure if Season 3 will be the best yet. Season 1 is still my favorite and it's all because of that opening scene. Nothing has hooked me to a show that quickly before. They weren't messing around with that pilot. I think I like Season 3 more than Season 2 so far. I can't put my finger on exactly what I'm liking so much. Maybe I'm just enjoying the fact that Rachel really got her ass handed to her with the pencil being jabbed into her eye. What can I say, I love seeing a mean character get what he or she deserves.
