I've always been a HUGE Harry Potter fan... Ever since my grandma gave me the first book for Christmas when it first came out.

when the films appeared on the 'big screen' I could barely contain my happiness. Every film was better than the previous one in my mind, and the franchise could do no wrong.

looking back however, I feel that some of the films were significantly better than others.

Although there is no doubt that these films have touched many people, there will be different opinions on which film is ultimately the best. Therefore I've decided to put together a list, of what I feel, in my opinion, are the best and worst Harry Potter films.

So, to recap on all the films, I watch them all back to back very recently,

Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments on this :)

8: Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets

Firstly let me say that there's nothing wrong with this film as such... However, I feel that this film is probably one of the most boring one of them all. To tell you the truth, I would say the same about the book.

Although there are some really good bits in this film (snake fight scene/Tom riddle being all mysterious and gorgeous) it just didn't do it for me..

7: Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire

Yes.. I can hear you moan with disapproval, and yes I do agree with you somewhat. Yes this is the film where The Dark Lord officially returns and the franchise turns to a much darker storyline.. Which is awesome in itself ... But on the other hand this is also the film which I find to be most forgettable.

I'll let you be the judge of that.

6: Harry Potter & The Philosopher stone

It's not high on my list this one, but I couldn't put it last, simply for one reason; what it represent. This film represents a beginning of a movie franchise which has touched many lives, and it provided us with a magical world to believe, which wasn't Disney.

However, this film is really cringeworthy and doesn't do the book justice.

5: Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince

Oh god... All those feels ... Give me a second here whilst I compose myself.

This film is excellent! However it is a bit forgettable... Maybe my mind is just blocking it out due to the death of Dumbledore. Oh god ... Feels .. One sec ... please look away for a second, I'm trying to claim my manliness back..

It's great, it's exciting, it's sad .... Let's move on

4: Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows part 1

meh..I think this film is a bit drawn out to be fair. Because I decided to put the last instalment into films I felt like I had to draw this one out a bit to make a full-length film. Although this film gives you a really really good preparation for The conclusion and bring things to a certain perspective, I still feel that this film was not as good as it could've been.

3: Harry Potter & The order of the Phoenix

oh my god what an amazing film must say this is without a doubt one of the most brilliant films in the franchise is sad it's filled with action, And I feel it gets you thinking of life, and with your friends and family really mean to you. Love is all of the Harry Potter films it is designed to make you think like that. You really see the characters come together in this film. The sense of camaraderie, friendship, and even love shines through in this film.

2: Harry Potter & The prisoner from Azkaban

This is the film with the struggle of the magical World really comes to light. We also see how narrow minded people can be, or let me rephrase that; How narrow-minded wizards can be.

In this film we really really see Harrys struggle, and is desire to have a real family. This film is simply amazing and it presents to us one of the greatest characters of the entire franchise: Professor Lupin.

1: Harry Potter & and the deathly hollows part 2

I have one word for you: Boss witch. Professor McGonnagle is so amazing in this film. And it also brings the battle of Hogwarts, The most iconic scene in the entire series. Again it shows you how well-written books are all comes together at the end. There are things you put together then you notice in the first films, that all of a sudden makes so much sense. This is also in my opinion one of the saddest films of them all, because we lose some of the most amazing characters that have ever been written.

I know all Harry Potter fans have grown up with these characters, have grown to love them, have grown to respect them. And although these are fictional characters, I know that many of us Harry Potter fans sit back and take the time to remember them all.

The books and the films touch many lives, have tought us how to love, have tought us about true friendship, and true comradeship.
