The Incredible Hulk and Thor!

Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby is what made the Incredible Hulk a popular character from 1978-1982. The show became even more bigger after introducing another famous Marvel superhero or a god; Thor! The big classic superhero team-up made fans go crazy!

Especially, when they put the two together again with different actors such as Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Hemsworth in the first Avengers movie! Fans enjoy seeing a god and a person who's has god-like strength, face-off in an epic battle; then later team-up on screen together!

Captain America!

God's righteous man! This 1979 TV movie is about a former marine whose father was a 1940's government agent. Steve's father was so patriotic, that it earned him the nickname Captain America! Later, his father was supposedly murdered. After Steve Rogers was a marine, he went on to become an artist; sketching a superhero based off of his father's story. Steve ended up receiving fatal injuries in an accident, he is administered an experimental chemical called the FLAG (Full Latent Ability Gain) which not only saves his life but also enables Steve's body with heightened strength and reflexes.

Being played by Reb Brown, we follow Steve's story as he takes on the responsibilities of Captain America and saves the city from an evil villain who threatens everybody's life with a bomb!

Today, we have Chris Evans playing as the patriotic superhero on-screen! We follow the story of a young man named Steve Rogers who dreamed of enlisting in the army and fighting in World War ll; being a small man he has difficulty in joining the army. Dr. Abraham Erskine allows Rogers to enlist and he is recruited into the Strategic Scientific Reserve as part of a "super-soldier" experiment. Captain America faces off against the Red Skull and finds himself piloting an aircraft filled with deadly weapons. Without a way to land the plane, Rogers crashes it into the Arctic. After being frozen for so long, and kept alive from his abilities, Rogers is awakened in the 21st century. Later, Captain America joins the Avengers!

Not Iron Man, but Exo-Man!

Back in the 70's and 80's, the technology wasn't available for a full on Iron Man movie. That's why Iron Man took a while to release in 2008. Exo-Man was a story about a physics professor paralyzed by mobsters who invents a special suit that makes him able to walk again and superhuman.

Today, we have the one and only Robert Downey JR. playing the lead role of the billionaire, playboy, philanthropist everybody knows as Tony Stark! After being held captive in an Afghan cave, an industrialist creates a weaponized suit of armor to get out and later use his idea to fight evil! Later, Stark is invited to join the Avengers initiative to help fight off potential threats to the Earth!

The Fantastic Four!

An unreleased superhero film that was made in 1994 follows the story of two college friends Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom who discover a comet passing by Earth and decide to run experiments on it; but the experiment goes terribly wrong and ends up scarring Victor. Ten years later Reed, Sue and Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm, decide to go up in a spacecraft to run tests on the same comet passing by a second time. The four crash land on Earth after being hit by cosmic rays released by the comet and later find out that those rays gave them superpowers. The film never hit theaters but is sticks a lot to the comics!

This upcoming film being released on August 7, 2015 is a reboot of the Fantastic Four featuring Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Kate Mara as Susan Storm, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, and Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev. This film will be showing the story of a team of four people who teleport themselves to an alternate universe that changes their physical body and gives them new abilities.

Last, but not least! Spider-Man!

The world's favorite web-slinging hero Spider-Man! Played by Nicholas Hammond, we watch the Daily Bugle photographer Peter Parker get bitten by a radioactive spider and obtain superpowers which grant him the abilities such as super-strength, agility and the ability to climb walls and ceilings. Spider-Man has to stop an evil villain that puts people under mind control!

A lot of speculations for the new Spider-Man after Andrew Garfield's performance is pointing towards Asa Butterfield. We haven't seen a look at the new Spider-Man, but he is set to appear in "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War" in the next couple of years so fans will just have to wait and see!

These classics show a first appearance of these famous Marvel superheroes on-screen and may not be as modern as the films today, but were still pretty awesome! If you noticed the films really stick to the way it was in the comics; such as the Fantastic Four, if you take a look at the costumes. That's what made some of these movies and T.V shows interesting, but it's what made them look a bit cheesy. Other than that, who doesn't like taking a look at the old films! Tell me what you think about the classics and the Marvel superheroes today in the comments below!
