50,000 human survivors escape an attempted genocide on their worlds by a robot species with an armada of advanced ships giving chase amongst the stars. Only ONE legendary space warship known as a BATTLESTAR comes along as their protector, doing battle against impossible odds to overcome.

As a fan of SYFY’s BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - I was sad to see it go. Yea sure, Caprica was okay but it didn't replace the giant hole left by BSG. Its tense military drama mixed with end of the world religious tones and man/robot sexual kink was SYFY’s best show EVER, at least in my opinion. What made it even more special was the awesome battles between the Galactica and the Cylons.

There was the miniseries “Blood and Chrome” which showed a lot of promise to help ease the pain, but once that project ended, that’s it. They didn't expand on the idea which was really exciting- a move that has failed the BSG franchise. Pitiful dare I say!

So like every BSG fan I have to go back and rewatch the series just to get my fix every once and awhile. It left me wondering what the cast is up to in 2015- Adama, Laura, Starbuck, Apollo, Athena, Helo, Caprica, Baltar, etc.

So let’s pay a visit to some old friends and see what they're up to....

Edward James Olmos - ADMIRAL William “Husker” Adama

The 68 year old legend has been speaking about his Jewish roots lately while guest appearing on Marvels AGENTS OF SHIELD as Agent Robert Gonzales. He’s still married to Lynn Nadal and still has that bone-grit toughness showed over the years through so many great roles that he’s played

Mary MCDonnell - PRESIDENT OF THE 12 COLONIES Laura Roslin

63 year old Mary McDonnell doesn’t age! I swear to god I have seen her on Grey's Anatomy and on Major Crimes and she still looks the same!

Katee Sackhoff - Lieutenant Kara "Starbuck" Thrace

The 35 year old Oregon native has kept busy since the end of BSG.

The Fearing Mind (2000–2001) The Education of Max Bickford (2001–2002) Bionic Woman (2007), Robot Chicken (2007–2014), Nip/Tuck (2009), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2010-2011) Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2012–2013) 24 (2010).

You can find STARBUCK in the A&E series Longmire as Deputy Sheriff Victoria "Vic" Moretti (2012-present).

Jamie Bamber - PRESIDENT of the 12 Colonies/CMDR-BATTLESTAR PEGASUS Lee "Apollo" Adama

The 42 year old Brit has been in Monday Mornings. The Smoke, and will be seen this year in The Messengers. Jamie is married to wife Kerry Norton and they have three daughters: Isla Elizabeth Angela Griffith, and twins Darcy and Ava.

James Callis - Dr. Gaius Baltar

The 43 year old York graduate can be seen this year in 2015 AD: The Bible Continues as Herod Antipas and Gallipoli as Ellis Ashmead-Bartlett . Did you know in 2006, Callis won the Best Supporting Actor Saturn Award and an AFI award for his performance as Baltar.

Tricia Helfer - CYLON #6

Tricia has been seen here and there in small roles. She had an awesome stint on USA's Burn Notice and this year can be seen the the show SUITS-as well as voicing Sonya Blade in the MORTAL COMBAT X video game.

She is married to Jonathan Marshall, a lawyer whom she met at a friend's birthday party. Tricia co-founded the charity web site "Acting Outlaws" with former Battlestar Galactica co-star Katee Sackhoff.

Grace Park- CYLON Sharon "Boomer" Valerii /Sharon "Athena" Agathon

The 41 year old Canadian has called CBS home since 2010 as Officer Kono Kalakaua in the series Hawaii Five-0. Grace has been married to Phil Kim since 2004.

Michael Hogan- Colonel Saul Tigh

Michael has been seen all around TV. Teen Wolf, the Tomorrow People, Husbands, and can be seen in No Easy Days as well as the Star Trek Indie film Star Trek: Axanar as Captain Robert April.

Aaron Douglas-CYLON/ Chief Galen Tyrol

In 2015 you can find the 43 year old Canadian in IZombie and The Returned. On November 1, 2004, Aaron's wife died after battling breast cancer. He has a son, Taylor, from a previous relationship, born in 1996.

Tahmoh Penikett-Karl "Helo" Agathon

Out of the crew that made up BSG, Tahmoh has had the coolest roles since the end of the show. Gadreel in CW's Supernatural and Paul Ballard in Joss Whedon's Dollhouse are two that come immediately to mind.

Alessandro Juliani-Tactical Officer Lieutenant Felix Gaeta

Juliani stars as Sinclair on the CW series The 100. What a lot of you, including myself probably didn't know was the extensive resume he's built up for his voice work. Just look at the body of work compiled from Wiki.
