(Warning - SPOILERS for Captain America: Civil War may, and probably will, be found below. Proceed with whatever level of caution your personal level of SPOILER-aversion suggests is prudent...)

Now, there have been a whole lot of glimpses of the Captain America: Civil War set over the past few days - but few gave us more than a glimpse of the film's plot, instead largely offering us cruel teases of awesome reveals still to come - and a pretty big suggestion that one character in particular had met their maker.

A new batch of on-set images, though, have done a whole lot more than tease - they've provided us with a couple of pretty substantial (and seemingly comprehensive) answers.

For instance:

We Now Know Exactly Who Dies in Civil War

And, sadly, it seems that it really is Peggy Carter - who, in fairness, had a pretty excellent run (and will continue to do so in both Agent Carter and Ant-Man) - after an image was released by an extra from the funeral scene (before being requested to be taken down by Marvel):

So, it really is a goodbye to Peggy in the modern-day MCU - which, from the looks of previously released images, may well serve to bring Cap and Agent 13 (a.k.a. Peggy's relative Sharon Carter) together.

Meanwhile, an image doing the rounds on Facebook seems to suggest that:

Bucky May Well Be At That Funeral

Which would, in turn, suggest that we may well see him and Cap interact there for the first time since The Winter Soldier...

On a more respectful note, though:

It Look Like Cap'll Be a Pallbearer

Which would, you'd have to imagine, be a pretty easy job for him to do alone - what with the super-strength and all...

Moving away from the funeral, though, it also seems that:

We're Going to See Cap Try to Make Things Right in Africa

Which suggests we could see some reconstruction efforts in the wake of The Hulk and Iron Man's brawl in Avengers: Age of Ultron:

(Though that could also, of course, just be a shot of Chris Evans being a good dude, and handing out water to extras...)

Along With Black Widow...

Who's got yet another motorcycle to play with...

The Falcon...

Who, quite frankly, looks more awesome each time I see him...

And, It Seems, Scarlet Witch...

All of which seems to imply that we may well even see the full (Vision and War Machine-including) new Avengers line-up in action early on in the movie.

Which could be helpful, seeing as...

It Looks Like Cap's Getting Attacked...

More specifically...

...By Crossbones...

Which, again, seems to imply that the villain is going to head into action relatively early on in the movie - if the above scene is indeed from so soon into the film, at least.

There'll most likely be a whole lot more in the coming days - but in the meantime:

What do you think?
