Who would've thought that major spoilers existed as far back as 1978! Briton David Prowse, the man underneath the iconic black costume of Darth Vader, managed to leak the ending of The Empire Strikes Back two years before the epic sequel was released!
In front of a crowd of over one thousand Star Wars "cultists" (according to the aged tabloid this article was taken from, I personally wouldn't consider any of them "cultists"...), who gathered in Berkeley, California to take pictures, grab autographed images and generally swoon over the former British weightlifting champion's general awesomeness, he let slip that Vader was in-fact Luke's father!

I know right?! The article snippet states that Prowse let loose a barrage of spoil grenades to wild cheers from the crowd:
And he offered a glimpse of a possible plot for the second sequel. Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, the young hero in the first film played by Mark Hamill, are hooked up in a do-or-die lightsaber duel when Luke learns that Darth is, in-fact, his long-lost father.
'Father can't kill son, son can't kill father," Prowse said. "So they live again to star in 'Star Wars IV'. (Wild cheers.)
The strange thing is though, Prowse couldn't have known that intrinsic information, for when filming began on the fight scene between Vader and his offspring, the script had Vader tell Luke that Obi-Wan had killed his father! That would've been mental.
So, I guess Prowse was trolling nerds before trolling became the next big thing. Cheeky.
