It has always been a dream of mine to gather some ghost-hunting equipment like cameras, EVP recorders, and EFM Meters, gather my courage, perhaps stick a mini Bible in my pocket, and travel to a well-known haunted house.

After a night of being locked in a creepy house for a night and hopefully finding some incredible evidence, I would return home happy and ready to sleep.

But what if you couldn't escape the spirits, perhaps some with evil and malicious intent? What if you lived in the house that was haunted? Every single night in your house would be a night of ghost hunting, whether you liked it or not.

Guillermo Del Toro, director of such films as Pan's Labyrinth and the Hellboy series, will be releasing a film called Crimson Peak starring Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnan, and Jessica Chastain just in time for Halloween to help get us into the creepy holiday spirit.

And this is precisely what happens to Edith (Wasikowska), as she is swept into a haunted house containing a malicious spirit with not only the intent to make its presence known, but also to do severe harm.

International Trailer

I officially have goosebumps. I love ghosts and eerie spirits, but I wouldn't want to live with any of them. A home is supposed to be a safe haven.

Take a look at some more frightening behind-the-scenes photos which are guaranteed to make you curiously excited for its release in October!
